Cathedral Of The Twin Gods Eridian Writing
While many associate theBorderlands universe with billions of guns and in-depth character customization, the series also has a surprising amount of lore tied to it. The origins of the vaults, various Vault Hunters, Sirens, and even the weapon manufactures have tons of backstory tied to them.
Gearbox decided to double down on this inBorderlands 3, providing lore to its fanbase through various audio logs and collectibles. One of these collectibles is Eridian Writing Slabs, granting some much-wanted explanations on the Eridians, the franchise's vaults, and their role in theBorderlandsuniverse. Of course, finding these also provides a nice chunk of Eridium to make finding them worthwhile. Here are all of the Eridian Slab locations on Pandora inBorderlands 3.
11 The Droughts 1
For the first Eridian Writing, you will need to head to The Droughts. Once there, head to the southwest part of the map.
Once you arrive at this location, head north until you reach a small cave with a few ammo boxes. Next to the boxes will have a metal wall that contains the Eridian Writing. Get next to it and interact with it to obtain your Eridium and some cool backstory on The Destroyer.
10 The Droughts 2
You will want to head to the south quadrant of The Droughts for the next slab. Head east until you reach a narrow passage that heads north.
This location houses a small mining operation. Head north and follow the wiring on the floor until you reach a dimly lit cave. The writing will be on the far wall. This Eridian piece talks about the Eridians relation with the Destroyer and also grants the 25 Eridium you'd expect.
9 Ascension Bluff
Ascension Bluff contains one Eridian Writing Slab that you'll need to obtain. Start at the Catch-A-Ride at the northern part of the map to get started.
Head to the nearby bandit camp and follow the road behind it. From there, you should see a cliff that has a tall rock wall. When you approach this wall, you will see the Eridian Writing and can interact with it.
8 Devil's Razor 1
Devil's Razor contains 2 Slabs to interact with. The easiest one to obtain is at the northern tip of the region. Like the last Slab, start at the Catch-A-Ride.
From there, head west until you reach a northern divot on the map. Follow that wall until you reach a dead end. The end of that path will be the Eridian Writing piece you are looking for.
7 Devil's Razor 2
There is a second piece that you will have to obtain from Devil's Razor. This time, head east of the same Catch-A-Ride station at the northern tip of the map.
When you begin heading east, hug the wall to the left of you. This wall will guide you to the Slab. At the end of the path, a series of quarried stones will be stacked together that you will need to climb. The top of the rock pile holds the next Eridian piece.
6 The Splinterlands
The Splinterlands only contains one Eridian Writing Slab for you to obtain. From the entrance, head north until you are just shy of the looping cliffside on the top of the map.
You should see a truck billboard in this area. At the opposite end of the billboard will reveal a cave you can enter. Inside, you will find the writing on the wall. It's in a dimly lit area, so keep walking forward until you see its bright orange glow.
5 Carnivora
Carnivora is a massive desert region on Pandora that will require a vehicle to traverse. Once you reach a Catch-A-Ride and obtain a vehicle, head to the center of the map.
Once there, head as far east as you can until you hit the zone's boundaries. Directly on one of the rocks is the glowing orange Eridian Writing you can interact with. Just keep an eye out for it and you'll see it. It's very hard to miss.
4 Guts Of Carnivora
Guts of Carnivora has the easiest Slab to obtain in all of Pandora. Once you reach the Guts of Carnivora, go as north as you can.
The northern part of the zone will reveal a large number of TVs currently inoperable on a platform. Walk up the stairs and inspect the televisions. At the center of the large setup will be your Eridian Writing.
3 Konrad's Hold
Konrad's Hold will be inaccessible to you until you finish "The Demon in the Dark" side mission. Without it, you won't be able to enter this location.
Once the side mission is complete, make your way to the entrance of the hold. the building south of the location will house a rather barren room with a barrel on one side. The barrel has a quest item, but further along, the wall will reveal the Slab.
2 Cathedral Of The Twin Gods
You do not want to enter the Cathedral for this next Slab. On your way to the Cathedral of the Twin Gods. look for a door that's slightly ajar.
You will need to slide under the entrance to get inside. Once inside, head to the left of the room and go through the hole in the wall. Continue along the path until you see a pile of boxes. Climb on top of them and the Eridian Slab will be at the end of that cave.
1 Destroyer's Rift
The final Eridian Slab on Pandora can be found at the Destroyer's Rift. You will only have access to this location towards the end of the game, so don't feel discouraged if you can't find it on your map.
When you are near the end of the game, instead of heading down the main path to face the final boss, look for a hole in the wall instead that diverges from the path. Follow this hole in the wall, climbing up nearby obstacles and taking turns as necessary. When you climb past all of the construction, the final piece can be found in the middle of a wall positioned over some rocks.
